A brief description:

      GASI is one of dance arts from china which has so many legends. The name of GASI is acronym from "Grup Atraksi Seni Indonesia" (Group of Indonesian Art Attraction). GASI was formed in 1970s, but because of the Indonesian regulation of banning Chinese cultures at that time, the group was inactive. However, the regulation was disregarded by Gus Dur, the 4th president of Indonesia. Thus, in March 11th, 2000, with initiatives from some people, GASI has been active again until now. This group has at least twelve Lions and six dragons originally from: Bogor, China, and Malaysia. Five sets of music instruments (drum, cymbals, and the gong) are available in our training facility. About our dragon group, the dragon painted by fluorescent paint has been used in variety performances: birthday or wedding party, and grand opening of businesses (store, factory) or house. The duration of the performance is about 15-20 minutes.
